IMPORTANT NOTICE

POSITIONING OF GATE PLATES BEFORE ACTIVATING THE FEEDER MOTOR:

BOTH GATE PLATES ON THE SPINNER PLATE MUST BE FLIPPED TO THE OUTSIDE TO AVOID THE MOTOR RUNNING OUT OF BALANCE.


HCR ELECTRONIC TIMER

As a safety measure, your timer is equipped with a 10 amp fuse. This fuse will blow to help prevent damage to the motor, wire insulation and the timer if the running of the motor is restricted in some way. The fuse will need to be removed, the problem corrected and a new fuse inserted.

Your timer is a complex electronic device that may require an occasional adjustment. If the timer appears to reset or be locked where it does not function, follow these steps:

* Remove the 2 AA batteries from the timer
* Wait at least 5 minutes prior to reinserting the AA batteries, positive end (point) first.
* If inserted too soon, before 5 minutes, the timer may not work properly.


COMPUCLOCK ELECTRONIC TIMER

If you receive a timer that is not functioning - - check to see if the battery still has the plastic wrap on it. If so, remove the plastic and reinsert the battery.

*** TIMER SETTING NOTICE***

EVERY TIME YOU PRESS THE HOUR SWITCH IT WILL CHANGE FROM AM MODE TO PM MODE TO 24 HOUR/MILITARY TIME AND BACK AROUND TO AM MODE, ETC. IF YOU GO BACK TO CHECK THE FEEDING TIMES YOU HAVE ALREADY SET AND DO NOT MAKE A CHANGE AT EACH SETTING, THE SETTING PREVIOUSLY SET WILL AUTOMATICALLY TURN OFF. IF YOU SEE A SETTING THAT DOES NOT HAVE *ON* BY IT - THAT SETTING IS OFF.
***THE TEST BUTTON HAS A 4 SECOND DELAY & RUNS FOR 10 SECONDS***


**BELOW ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT COME WITH YOUR TIMER**

Setting the clock
To set current time:
 
1. Press and hold the set switch until the clock starts flashing.
2. Using the hour and minutes switch, set the current time.
3. Press and release the set switch when finished.

 
Setting the feed times
To set the feed time:
 
1. Press the mode switch, clock will advance to the first feeding.
2. Press and hold the set switch until clock flashes
3. Using the hour and minute switch, set the desired feed time
4. Press and release the run time switch, set the desired motor run time using the seconds switch
5. Press and release the mode switch to advance to the next feed time
6. Continue with the above steps to set additional desired feeding and run times
7. When finished press the mode switch advancing the clock back to the current time
 
Note:
(am/pm mode only) The clock will read 12:00 am in all the feed times and will only feed for times you set. When in question, press the hour switch to change am/pm mode to 24 hours mode which will display 0:00 in feed times not set.

Any individual setting can be changed provided you hold down the set switch until the clock flashes in that particular mode.
